The central location puts you minutes from metro lines and major attractions. Accommodation ranges from converted guild houses to modern hotels, while restaurants serve everything from humble moules-frites to Michelin-starred cuisine.

Getting around couldn't be easier with Schuman metro station and multiple bus routes providing excellent connectivity every few minutes. Upscale international restaurants cater to the diplomatic crowd, while nearby Leopold Park offers peaceful walking paths when you need to escape the bureaucratic bustle.

Brussels and related destinations
Waffles aren't just breakfast here – they're an art form, best enjoyed while admiring La Grand Place's gilded guildhalls that seem almost too ornate to be real. The Manneken Pis statue proves even national monuments can have a sense of humor. Duck into the Musical Instruments Museum where vintage saxophones and strange medieval contraptions await behind an Art Nouveau façade. The Royal Museums of Fine Arts houses Flemish masterpieces that make art history textbooks come alive. Chocolate shops offer free samples with such casual generosity you'll wonder if they've miscalculated their profit margins. After dark, tiny pubs serve hundreds of beer varieties, each in its own specially shaped glass – a ritual bartenders take very seriously indeed.

"Friendly staff, good buffet breakfast."
The Hotel
"The room was smaller than other hotels we stayed. The bathroom is open to the sleeping area and the toilet area was closed with the shower door which didn’t fit properly and the shower door leaked. The breakfast was very well appointed."

Novotel Brussels off Grand'Place

"Super staff!! Only here for one night but everything was really nice"
Thon Hotel Bristol Stephanie
"Firstly, the staff are amazing here. Really polite, friendly and always helpful. Room was fine, a little dusty in places but overall clean enough. Main bed was comfortable. Sofa bed was ok, but can't expect a sofa bed to be as comfortable as a proper bed. Air conditioning is excellent, weather outside was over 35 degrees when we went and the room's temperature was lovely. The only issue was the sound proofing from above. Of the 3 nights we stayed, the first was fine. The second we could hear footsteps and banging doors till past midnight and the third was not much better. Location is good. 3 minutes from nearest tram stop (Stephanie) which goes into the centre quickly. 8 minutes walk from nearest metro station (Louise). Could get to Brussels-Zuid in under 20 minutes. Supermarket close by. Overall, recommended."
