I really loved my stay at the Vigla. The staff are a cut above—very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable; I appreciated the private balcony with sunset views. The town of Thoralia is quaint, peaceful, and off the beaten path (which you already are in Amorgos!). The breakfast was excellent; lots of options and had a perfect freddo espresso to start each day. Parking is plentiful, and access is easy. Although there are more charming towns in Amorgos, I would stay...
This is one of the hotels we stayed at during our honeymoon and it was definitely our favorite. The staff is so incredibly friendly. Our room was amazing - we had this huge private deck/patio off our room that overlooked the sea. I could not believe how great it was for the price we paid for our room! It was a steal! Another great thing was the food at both of the restaurants - the best meals we had on our trip. I did not get any spa treatments but I used the gym and swam in both pools along...
What a great location - right on the beach, with a pool, but also near the main town area in Amorgos for quick trips for shopping or meals! The staff was also lovely and so eager to help their guests. The only issue was that we were placed in a room on the edge of the property, and therefore the internet did not reach into our hotel room, so we did not have internet in our room for the 4 nights of our stay. Otherwise we had a great experience!
Beautiful, spacious room was conveniently located close to the center of town. The lovely patio overlooked a beautiful view of the Aegean. The bed was VERY COMFORTABLE! We appreciated the ride to and from the port.
