Marathon Beach Hotel was wonderful! They have done a lovely job renovating and old standard into a stylish, modern and welcoming shelter in the current Greek storm. The design of the renovation is fresh and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. And I can't forget the large, lovely (salt water❤️❤️❤️) pool! I would (and already have) recommend it to a friend. The hotel is in a great area of Nea Makri, with nice shops, a beautiful port and lively...
Very clean and has all the things we needed for the night stay before our cruise. It cost us just 8 euros to get to our ship. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant has great menu and the breakfast was awesome. It is also a new hotel.
I was not given the upgrade as i had requested it, and all my other rooms that i had booked did have an upgrade...
I also had to wait for my room, while the other rooms were given early checkin....

This hotel is located in the Piraeus Port area, so you experience the ambiance of an active port and big city, yet far enough away that our street was remarkably quiet. It was close to our cruise ship terminal (gate), which was a priority for us. Transportation to terminal was included in the room charge. We received door to door service. Spectacular stay near the acropolis. We walked everywhere. Felt safe. So many restaurants, shops and adventures to get to from our location. Had a beautiful and amazing view from our balcony and rooms of the Parthenon and Acropolis. The hot tub added extra awesome experience in the evenings. An elevator right into our room was unique. Private. Secure. Had everything from coffee, to robes, a full kitchen and more. I highly recommend this place.
We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the hotel. Most of the major tourist attractions, and many good restaurants, are an easy walk from the hotel. There is a taxi stand, bus lines, and a metro link close by as well. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We even had a little view of the Acropolis from our room on the 6th floor. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful with tips for good restaurants and directions for how to get where we wanted to go.
Great location, nice big space, modern furnishings. Sometimes it took awhile to get a response to messages but the woman who was on site at times was super helpful when we ran into her. Our balcony door didn’t work properly so we were unable to sit at the cute table and chairs outside. But overall a great spot and would definitely recommend it.
Perfect location, right next to the acropolis, two nice jacuzzis with a beautiful view, walls a little thin as I could hear the people in the next room other than that a great stay

Would like to have a shuttle to and from the closest locations only 10min away. Taxis are pretty expensie and a shuttle would be a value add.

Excellent location for walkable dining, shopping, and ancient ruins. Book a room in the “hotel” with a balcony not the “residences” if you want a peekaboo view of the Acropolis. Bathroom very modern and comfortable but be aware that only a glass door with gauzy curtains separates you from anyone you share the room with. Also the entrance is on Karoni Street, around the corner from 39 Aiolou Street which some booking sites list as the address.
Hotel is lovely. Room was large and shower excellent. The staff is very helpful and courteous. It is located near the Acropolis and plenty of restaurants. We even received breakfast boxes because we had an early morning flight. I would highly recommend.
Great location, wonderful staff and excellent breakfast. The restaurant “”Whispers” on the 6th floor is gourmet with 5 star service for an amazingly affordable price—with a breathtaking view of Acropolis. Do not miss!!
