The Glenburn Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean and extremely helpful staff. I believe it is fairly obvious, but to climb either the front stairs, or follow the road to park a vehicle at the side of the hotel (beside red postbox) is fairly challenging for those of an elderly / infirm position. Anyone younger, it is a great workout routine! I WOULD BOOK this hotel again. Great area and nice short walk into town where you have everything you need."
The Royal Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Nice charming hotel with quaint, old world atmosphere. Staff is great. Nice and helpful, breakfast was extensive and filled regularly."
The Great Western Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is being renovated and some areas are not finished. Our room was lovely, spacious, comfortable bed, and magnificent views over the bay."
Corran House Guest House & Hostel
8/10 Good
"Very good value for the money. Excellent location. Rooms were big with a high ceiling and a fairly modern bathroom. Rooms and the building as a whole felt tired and needed updating, but that is probably why the price was as good as it was. Would recommend for those on a mid-level budgt."
Portavadie
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic place in a great location, very clean, excellent service and excellent food."
Loch Fyne Hotel And Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Always enjoy our stay, the pool & spa are excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient."
Loch Long Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good clean room with a bathroom with a window which I love. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a great Indian restaurant on site. Our room overlooked the end of the loch and was very quiet. Free on site car parking available and cafes and bars across the road for lunches."
The Kelvin Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is located on a quiet street very close to all amentities. Sheena was very friendly and responsive. Will recommend the place to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Oban"
Rosslea Hall Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great location and lovely rooms. The bed was super comfy and we had a great sleep. Though hotel was very busy it was also very quiet. The hotel is also very pet welcoming. Only food available in the evening was in the bar and to be honest the menu is not appropriate for a large hotel with only 4 starters ( of which one was unavailable) and six main courses - 4 of which came with boiled rice. This really needs improvement. The waitress ( there was only one) was lovely, very busy but also very courteous , attentive and friendly. Breakfast was continental but lots to chose from and good, fresh produce. Would absolutely stay again but unless menu changes would eat in nearby Helensburgh."
