We just spent a wonderful 5 nights at the Oberoi and loved every second. The rooms are large and luxurious with a private terrace and an especially nice bathtub big enough for 2. The water sports are gratis including a snorkel boat 3x a day that goes out to just past the reef very closeby. The snorkeling right off the beach is also nice and full of fish. My wife and I travel frequently and have been fortunate enough to visit multiple islands in Hawaii, the Caribbean as well as enjoy fine hotels all Europe and the US. Until now I have never been impressed or moved enough to even take the time to write a review. The staff at SALT of Palmar is undoubtedly the greatest we have ever encountered.

We enjoyed the food variety available from the buffet, breakfast, lunch and dinner (we always missed tea time). The onsite restaurants food was also good. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We just had a great time.

The service at this resort is impeccable. Every aspect is luxury from the rooftop pool to the beautiful beach. There is an abundance of loungers and while some people put out towels at sunrise, it was unnecessary as we never had a problem finding a longer at any time of day. This might not be the resort for you if you have children that would like to be entertained but as a couple enjoying a romantic getaway this was exactly what we were looking for. This is the most idyllically suituated hotel on the North East coast of Mauritius and boasts a proud heritage in its many years of existence. Many of the guests are repeat visitors some as many as over the past 30 years and all are pleased to be here. EXCELLENT! Highly recommended. It takes a bit of work to reach the island from the airport, but you will not be disappointed. The staff attends to your every need.

We were there on our honeymoon and it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun and beach. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. The food was excellent and we enjoyed having the different suggestions of the day besides the normal menu. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was a beautiful and quiet place to just relax and enjoy your stay.

I couldn't find out any demerit of Voile Bleue. Perfect place to rest and spend vacation. Beautiful seashore, kind people, exciting events, delicious food... I should be back in this cozy place again whenever I visit Mauritius.

Its a clean place and the serenity is great.

Staff was very collaborative & helpful, good atmosphere. The pool is very nice and the breakfast delivered to the bedroom was a good change. No water bottles in the room & you only get complimentary coffee on the first day, need more space in the parking too but the stay there was very enjoyable.
