Great location for what we wanted. Plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Only slight thing is a bit expensive in the restaurant but plenty of places nearby to get food so you do have a choice.
I liked the fact that this not a run of the mill motel
It also reminded me so much of the house I lived in from 1959 - 62, not far away at Allesley (sadly gone).This was owned by Jaguar Cars to accommodate student apprentices.
We were amazed by the old fireplace in the sitting room, part of one of the old City gates.
The property was a perfect little English inn for a quick night during our trip from the US. Rooms and grounds were clean, staff helpful, and room well-suited.
The Castle at Edgehill is well kept, clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Banbury, Stratford and Warwick. We stayed in the Astley room and were extremely pleased with the comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and hot shower. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and we enjoyed being able to sit in the pub a couple of evenings, or in the garden, and enjoy the amazing views out over Edgehill and the freshly cut corn fields.Staff were friendly and helpful. Over all it is a wonderful place to stay in the center of Warwick. However, the front door was locked at the time when the reception was supposed to be open, and a phone number was posted. Since I didn't have a phone that works in the UK, I had to ask someone to call the number for me in order to check in.
This hotel exceeded my expectations in all aspects. The reception was very welcoming. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. I used the pool facilities and that was very good too. The breakfast had everything you would want. It was excellent value for money. All the staff were wonderful
To enter this property, we drove thru a nice tree tunnel. That set the theme for our stay.
The staff members were really friendly. Our room was well maintained and spacious. The property feels like a mansion. We had a great time there.
Our stay at Hotel du Vin was lovely. The room was comfortable and clean. Very tastefully decorated. Great central location for touring Stratford. All the main attractions were within. Walking distance.
