Seacote Hotel
8/10 Good
"Beach view is amazing. Great location."
Mary Mount Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Weather not so good, but quiet as kids back at school. Hotel and staff exellent, very helpful. Toilet had a problem but the general manager was straight on it, got it fixed no problem. Exellent stay even if the weather not so good."
Gretna Hall Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had good selection of teas and coffee to make a drink with plenty of milk. Breakfast buffet had a good selection and was well presented and warm There was ample parking around the hotel."
The Grange Country House
10/10 Excellent
"The staff make you feel so welcome when you arrive and throughout your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is delicious with several options for hot food and a buffet of cold food. Lovely views from the dining room too. We missed the free afternoon homemade cake the first day so they made my husband gluten free flapjacks and put them on our breakfast table the next day. They were fully aware of coeliac disease. It is a pleasant walk into Keswick although a few hills. There is free parking at the hotel. I would have no hesitation in booking the hotel again, although next time I would book a larger room. We stayed in room 2, which had a bath and a hand held shower attachment, which may not be suitable for people with mobility issues."
Keswick Country House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We have visited this hotel over the last 10 years. They have upgraded it to a lovely standard in the bar, dining room and bedrooms. The food is amazing. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Some corridors and main reception are slightly dated and need updating."
Hetland Hall Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful & impressive stately hotel in lovely surroundings , with well-appointed & well-furnished rooms. Got a very friendly welcome, and had requested a room with a view , if possible - and happily got one over looking the rolling countryside towards the Solway Firth. Breakfast was delicious, staff were very attentive, and meal set us up for our journey into the Lake District."
