We were stranded because of the airport shutdown and I booked the hotel without my normal thorough review… and I got very lucky. The location is excellent. There are many places to eat nearby, as well as the waterfront. The room and bathroom were spacious. It is not air-conditioned, which would have been an issue if the weather were different during our stay. As it was, we arrived on a very windy day that resulted in a continuous thumping noise from our room door. Fortunately, a quick-thinking staff member provided a piece of cardboard that stopped the rattling.
