There’s nothing like a warm welcome and deeply curious staff, invested in their craft and your experience. We arrived to a beautiful hotel and a team that wanted to know about us, genuinely curious, led by the remarkable Francois who, once he learned that we were going to walk the Puy, shared an enthusiasm that was infectious. That the rooms are gorgeous is almost a given. They are. As are the pool and bar. Francois embodies grace. Wow.

The room we had was very clean and very comfortable with large lockers. The location is great because it’s only about a 10 minute walk to the center of the city, to the Hotel de Ville (City Hall). Our room was queen with a small kitchenette. It was perfect for our needs as we spent most of our time wandering Lyon. This hotel is not in the city center but across from a metro stop and a 5 minute walk to a tram which goes straight to the main train station. Tons of cafes and restaurants around. The hotel is located in a very convenient location with easy walking access to all major touristic sites, cafes, and restaurants. Highly recommend getting a superior room with the River view. We had a very pleasant stay & enjoyed talking to friendly & helpful staff. It’s also close to the St Paul Train station.
