Setting was lovely, charming hosts, beautiful pool, great breakfast. We loved the garden. The town of Barjac is a beautifully preserved and little known Renaissance town with some great restaurants. The only drawback was our room smelled a bit musty and was dark. Unavoidable -- since we were on the lower level of the mas. Would opt for one of the yurts next time.

This property is in an excellent location near the pont d’arc and is only a 15 minute drive from Grotte de Chauvet 2. The owner and much of the staff speaks English. This did not matter to me as we always conversed in French. The service was impeccable. The owner went out of her way to find a vegan restaurant as her restaurant was closed that day. The only reason that I gave four stars for the amenities is that the heated swimming pool was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. ...
Our hosts were lovely and the stay very pleasant. It was not a private getaway as we had anticipated, however. Our hosts were friendly, but almost always there. We enjoyed the dinner offered as a guest at their family table with the other guests and it was difficult to communicate.
My two night stay at Le Mas Fraissinet was one of the best experiences I have ever had. My hosts, Audrey and Michel, were lovely and accommodating, the included breakfast was delicious, all homemade, of note was the chestnut yogurt!
My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The view from my room of the National Forest is literally across the street. The pool and spa was a delight for this part of France. Especially as you reserve your own private time to use.
