We enjoyed our time with our three kids in the family suite and would book again! I will say, be prepared that even though there is a restaurant in the hotel do not expect to get a table unless you've arranged reservations prior. We were turned away and needed to order food. It was not a big deal, but did alter our plans a bit as we did not expect to need this as hotel guests. Pools were both great and we thought the room was very large and comfortable as well as clean.

Situated on Hauptstrasse (Main Street) in old town Heidelberg. It as good to walk every day just as the Germans do. Shops were okay, but plentiful. Also close to Heidelberg's main historical attractrations, the Schloss (Castle) and the Alte Brucke ( the old Bridge).

Since it's small, it had a more intimate feel. We loved how close it is to the many Christmas markets, old bridge, Philosophers' Walk, and old castle. Taking bus 32 from the train station drops you right at the hotel! We would stay here again. We stayed in December and it was plenty warm.
