"Excellent stay in Munich Sofitel, staff at reception were friendly and efficient and breakfast had a good variety. Best part is the fact that it's literally beside the Munich Central train station. Room was very good sand had everything we needed. Somewhat luxury, although there's no turn down service at night. TV channels - had English news and NHK which was great as that meant we weren't stuck with just German programmes. Didn't use the pool or spa because it was filled with families and screaming kids which put us off, but it wasn't our main objective to use the spa facilities at Sofitel anyway. Have to minus off a star because the body lotion wasn't replenished and was empty. For a 5 star hotel you wouldn't expect this kind of slip up. "

"⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) The main issue with this hotel is the extremely small room. It was very uncomfortable for two people, with no space to open suitcases or even sit down. The bathroom had excellent hot water, but the drainage was very poor, flooding the entire bathroom with no proper wet/dry separation, and water even leaked onto the carpet outside. The bathroom door was also very difficult to open, sometimes requiring help from someone outside. Breakfast was very good, with warm, freshly baked bread. If not included, it costs €19.90. On the first night, the staff were extremely friendly, and self-service hot water, coffee, and hot chocolate were available in the common area, which we really appreciated. On the second night, because the room was so small, my sister stayed in the common area while I went upstairs to shower. At that time, the staff told us we were not allowed to use the coffee machine, saying it was only for breakfast, even though other guests had just used it freely without being stopped. This inconsistency made us feel uncomfortable. Overall, acceptable only for a very short stay with minimal luggage, but not suitable if you value space, comfort, and consistent service."

"Amazing hotel! Perfect Location. We upgraded to a suite when we got there and was a perfect stay. I did not realize this was a 4 Seasons Brand hotel and it did not disappoint. Walking distances to amazing shops and restaurants, next to the palace and opera house. Nice pool and gym area in the spa. Lobby area was a great place to hang and be seen. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only negative I would say was pillows were very mushy."
