The desk staff and concierge were wonderful: helpful, prompt and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, and the breakfasts offered a huge and delicious variety of cereals, breads, eggs, meats, cheeses, juices, coffees, teas, and more.
Hotel staff was excellent and very accommodating. A little out of the way but if you arrive in time you can take the Klum train up the hill right behind the drop point behind the castle.
This was the first hotel on a 2 week trip with 9 other friends. Only one other hotel compared with the great quality. The front staff was great, rooms large, solid breakfast, good bar, easy parking, and lots of eating choices within a medium walk /short drive. While this was a pass through location, we will stay here again if we stay in the Heidelberg area.
Wow, right outside the famous Heidelberg towers and our rooms over looked the bridge and the river! Perfection. Beautiful old world sitting room to grab a coffee and wait for the rest of our group! We were so lucky to be there for Christmas Markets. It was perfect
Since it's small, it had a more intimate feel. We loved how close it is to the many Christmas markets, old bridge, Philosophers' Walk, and old castle. Taking bus 32 from the train station drops you right at the hotel! We would stay here again. We stayed in December and it was plenty warm.
You must stay here while visiting Heidelberg. The view is simply breathtaking. The staff extraordinarily accomodating. They could not do enough for us. From check-in to our departure all we heard was "Yes." and "What else can we do for you?" Daily breakfast was outstanding. Everything from meats, cheeses, olives, cooked to order eggs and so much more. The hotel is in a great location - right by the bridge and castle. The room was huge and we could have stayed there for weeks, it felt so comfortable. Restaurant has the best food in town.
