"Location is everything in real estate. Hotel One is a five minute walk from Berlin’s central train station…meaning it is the PERFECT location from which to explore the city. All the major sites we wanted to get to were easily reachable by tram or train, and even a direct train to and from the airport. We arrived via an 8:30 a.m. flight, and were THRILLED when the hotel already had a room ready and allowed us to check in right away rather than having to store luggage for several hours before allowing us into our room. It’s always nice to be settled in and know that your stuff is safely locked away. And the cherry on top was the breakfast offerings—especially for my gluten-free wife. Just let the breakfast staff know you need a gluten-free option, and ten minutes later they deliver a warm basket of gluten-free goodness that fills your tummy and puts a smile on your face to start the day. Including a WARM gluten-free baguette! We have rarely been so well taken care of when it comes to gluten free breakfast options. Our room wasn’t large…but we weren’t there to spend time in the room. As a “home base” to explore Berlin for a few days, it was a perfect spot. Absolutely would book again."

"Location was ok for our five night stay in Berlin. AC didn't work for the first two nights. Was finally switched to a new room after advising the front desk that it still hasn't been fixed. Lots of great restaurants around the area where we enjoyed dinner at a couple of times. Room was a decent size for our family of four. One thing I wish it had was a mini fridge in the room to keep cold drinks after a long hot day of sightseeing. Took public transit at the nearby bus stops and was easy enough to get to places from this location. Overall was happy to stay here."
