This was a very cute alpine BnB that got us right across the street from the hiking trails we were aiming for. We arrived late and owner Liliana helped us get settled into an upstairs room with a great view. They offered a complimentary beer brewed nearby and had the World Cup/Germany game on in their dining area. The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

This is a nice property to stay at. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The entire hotel is clean and modern and has garage parking. The restaurant had a great selection of food and everything we had was very good. Included breakfast was great, including individually prepared dishes. The staff were great, very friendly, knowledgeable, and always there to help.
Loved our stay here! When we arrived Sam, at the front desk, helped us get settled straight away. The hotel is directly across the street from the train station but you cannot hear trains pass. We got a room over looking the river which was very relaxing. The breakfast, which was included, was great!
I have stayed at the Goldener Hirsch for the past 30 years The hotel and its staff never fail. Charming and comfortable, it is located in the midst of an active tourist area but absolutely quiet inside and completely safe outside. The staff listen carefully and exceed every request. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salzburg.
This was just an all around excellent stop outside of Salzburg. The village was one of the nicest I've seen in Europe. Don't miss the cemetery, it's beautiful.
