This resort was beautiful and in a great location. The room was clean and modern. Beautiful view of the bay from balcony. I would stay there again. Wish they had a late night menu or snacks to purchase. We arrived late after a 9-hour drive and there was nothing open in the immediate area. We went to a McDonald’s (11pm-close) and OTR gas station which was open.
Stayed for three nights for a family event. The staff were great, welcoming on checking in, friendly and polite when interacting through out the stay.
The room was clean and tidy, had basic facilities in the room. Good base to explore Phillip Island on foot (a short walk to the beach, mini golf, and local shops), or drive (approx. 10-15 minutes from Penguin Parade, Winery, Chocolatier, Vietnam Veterans Museum, Farm etc). Off-street parking outside room.
Kilcunda Beach is one of my favorite beaches and all of Australia. The location was excellent, as I could walk to the beach, and I was also able to go to a nearby coffee shop, and get some work done, including a Zoom meeting, all well, relaxing in a nice comfortable room.
Wonderful place to stay right on the beach. Clean and had everything that we needed to feel happy and safe. Bunnies hopping around and beautiful grounds. Would stay again.
We were two couples staying for one night after a Penguin Parade excursion. The two-room unit was perfect for our needs. FYI, in addition to the hotel-type rooms the complex has multiple permanent mobile homes. Perhaps in the summer months it could be quite hopping, but in mid-November, when we stayed, it was nice and quiet.
Great stay at this resort. We came on a rainy week, so there were some limitations - but the pool, sauna and hot tub were enjoyed by my family. The cabin/villa itself was very clean, with all the necessary amenities - including laundry, which was very helpful. We would like to come back again and stay longer.
Bernadette is a fabulous owner/host. This is the best place to stay onPhillip Island. The location, views and Bernadette’s local knowledge create an amazing experience. This place is very special.
