The property, amenities, and staff were all first-rate. Our room, a one-bedroom apartment, really, was spacious and comfortable; we made good use of the kitchen and washer/dryer in our suite and enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and pool available on the premises. We took advantage of the many restaurants, shops, and services within a few minutes walk from the lobby, and made good use of the subway just a little further on for our exploration of downtown Sydney. Highly recommended.

The Grace is a beautiful hotel within easy walking distance to Sydney CBD. The rooms were large and updated. Our only disappointment was that when we arrived late morning although the room was ready, they wanted to charge us$50.00 to check in early.
We stayed at the Meriton (Campbell) in September 2017.
Taking the train from the International Airport terminal to Central Station was quick and easy. We got in at 7:30PM so the train was rather empty. Getting an Opal card at the airport for the train was quick and easy as well. Once at Central Station finding Pitt street was a little confusing, but once I figured out where we were, it was a quick 5-10 min walk to the hotel.

I was there for only one night before I was to fly out of Sydney airport so this place was very convenient. Having the shuttle to the airport helps. There are some dining options around the area. But I just grabbed something to eat/drink from a grocery (Woolworths) across Cahill Park about 10 minutes walking from there. The room had a refrigerator which helps a ton for me.
We had been in Australia for a few weeks and only needed a place to crash that was downtown and cheap for two nights before our flight home. This was perfect. No frills. Small room. Reception was only open when we showed up. Convenient bar downstairs takes care of anything afterwards. Their fish and chips is good. Walking distance (for us- late 40s active) to 2 harbor areas. Did I mention the bar downstairs? Bottle shop (liquor store) attached and a large size, for a downtown, grocery store...
