It is absolutely stunning where the bungalows are situated. The view and access to the pristine unspoilt beach is better than any upscale resort. My only complaint was that the bunk bed mattresses for the kids were very hard. Everything else was easy and wonderful and we would stay again if we ever came back to Northern Queensland.
Had a great experience! It's a great place to stay. The family is really friendly and informative of everything that North Queensland has to offer. The resort is quiet and secluded. The beach is just across the road, with a great breakfast place across the road.
This is a great choice right in the heart of the promenade area. Lagoon is literally steps away out front, tons of restaurants all around. Convenience store just around corner and short walk to big Woolworths. Room was comfortable and well designed (we got the deluxe with two twins) with a nice separate sitting area and table/chairs. Good value for money and lovely staff!
We had booked the hotel for a one night stay to catch an early flight out of Cairns. We selected the hotel for it's closeness to the airport. When we arrived, we found that the hotel was nicer than expected. Our room was modern, clean and very spacious. And despite the hotel being located on a major road, the road noise was not an issue in our room.
The reception desk is staffed 24/7, so our early check-out was no issue and we were at the airport within a 10min drive.
My only issue is that I found the layout to be horrendous. I was there for 3 days and only on the last day was I able to easily find my building cluster.
You can't see the layout diagram from your vehicle. Just a very poorly planned development.

We stayed here overnight recently to attend a function in town. We were very surprised by how roomy and well set up the apartment was for the price. It would definitely suit a small family for an extended period of time as has fold out couch, full kitchen albeit small, large bathroom, washer and dryer, small balcony etc. Pool not flash but swimmable and great location, free secure parking. Would definitely recommend to travellers who are looking for location and comfort over flash setting. Value...

My fiancé and I went here with minimal expectations, just looking for a getaway with close access to the Great Barrier Reef. This resort was beyond accommodating. The surpassed our expectations with amazing food, drinks, and service. They also provided us with transport to and from most any location and recommended awesome activities and onsite nature walks!
The property was clean and tidy well set up just very dated...could do with some more modern everything.
