What a surprise. Ignore the reviews. This is not a Marriott, nor should you be after one whilst staying in Italy. What this is is a delightful Italian hotel with incredible staff, Italian styled rooms and an incredible spa. Breakfast also wonderful. Take the train up to old town and you'll have a wonderful evening

Hair dryer didn't work but they provided a brand new one to use. Good breakfast.

This is a fabulous property with unique things to do that you simply cannot find anywhere else!! The cave is a must. There are swimming pools and saunas and steam room. Plus a whole host of personal body treatments. Also the grounds have hiking trails. Close to very good small restaurants and great area historical sites. Treat yourself to this amazing place at least once.

This hotel feels like luxury. Beautiful, comfortable, nice size room and spacious bathroom. The staff is terrific. Amazing breakfast and dinner (across the street) was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I loved the location, and the room & bathroom were exactly what we needed for our stay in Lucca.

This is not a picture-postcard villa with glorious views in the heart of town. It's a super-clean, well-managed, airy, Best Western with free parking, helpful staff, good restaurant, free internet, and fine breakfast, 10 minutes by car from Lucca and a good jumping-off base for driving to other sites in the area. Good value for the money.

The best part of the hotel was the pool and landscape around the hotel. The food at the restaurant was ok. The only downside of our stay was the drunk British man who couldn't find his room and woke us up at 3 am by sticking his head through our bedroom window looking for his girlfriend.
