"The hotel staff was not mean, but they was not welcoming. The staff placed copy of my passport on the wall on a clip board for anyone that came could see my personnel information. I asked the staff the remove the copy of my passport from the wall, but they refused. My room smelled like mold. Plus, no one clean my room for my entire reservation. They are better affordable places in the area. I would not recommend anyone this place."

If you can't wait to get to the beach, you might enjoy a trip to Dumaluan Beach located 4.3 mi (6.9 km) from central Panglao. Spend the afternoon at the beach and head to one of the restaurants for a bite to eat. Catch the sunset by the shore at White Beach, just a short walk away.
This is an absolute hidden gem. If you like being right on the beach and having access to a range of restaurants and excursion opportunities, this is the place to stay. It is absolutely worth the money. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
This place is old, a strong country feel. If you are into 5 star treatment its not for you.i have spiders and gecko in my bathroom. You could only hear crickets and lizards. The room is spacious, and very old feel. That makes it so special. My balcony view has a forest vibe.green garden and blooms every where. You must try their home made ice cream..to die for! This is the cleanest and most well maintained hotel I have been to yet in the Philippines. It was wonderful. The landscaping and gardens are gorgeous.
The staff was also very, very friendly amd helpful. They arranged transportation and even a boat tour for us.
The restaurant was also very clean and well maintained. The prices were reasonable and while the food was nothing fantastic, it was still far above average.
If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely stay here again.
Hammocks on the beach have nets around the coconuts so they don't fall on your head, staff smiles and says hello good morning how was your day, the grounds are manicured with no detail spared, the pool invites you for a swim, a beautiful beach,they have bacon for breakfast, they have an art gallery to enjoy paintings and a ping pong table, the tours arranged from the front desk are with your own driver and they are kind patient and knowledgeable, they have a DVD library to catch up on movies ......
My 1st stay at Hennan was remarkable that is why I chose to stay again. My expectations were so high however the experience was quite different. Probably it was so crowded in the pool and by the beach area, including the lobby.
Unlike before, there was a staff who greeted u as soon as u enter with a welcome drink and a sort of a lei given to u.
Noticed the upholsteries in the lobby are dirty. The atmosphere is not as relaxing as before. But, the staff remain courteous and friendly.
This property is very nicely decorated and is in walking distance to bars and restaurants on the beach. The only issue I had was the pool at the beach end of the building was off limits to tawala guests unless we paid 1500ph. Seems extreme to swim
The place is nice and it’s peaceful. It’s a couple of minutes from Alona beach. I like that they have their own motorcycle rental and they can pick up or drop you off to the seaport/airport also for a fee on their tricycle. The staffs are friendly and approachable.
