After visiting Lagos State Government Secretariat, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Lagos. While you're in the area, stroll along the marina.
"The WiFi and food I rate one star. Advertisement is for free WiFi but you are given a slip of paper with a code that only works for a couple hours for one device and when the code decides to expire, if you don’t remember to ask reception for a new slip, WiFi is not available. I checked out and booked a new hotel because I could not work with the restricted WiFi.
Ordered food (fish in particular) that must have been spoiled, caused us to vomit most of the morning.
First and last time stay at Shoregate, unless honest free WiFi is offered and available 24/7."
"The worst week spent there. They advertised a gell mattress and it was hard as a rock. It felt like a board underneath. We called about my room not being cleaned and was told that I have to request that. Expedia called the front desk and they told them a manger would be in contact with me. Never happened. The towels were so hard it scratched my skin. Let's say that I left with a bad back and a rash."
"It was not a good experience. I did not stay because it was so dirty. There was no formal check-in process. When I arrived there was no knowledge that a “hotel” existed."
