"The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The king size bed was very comfortable. Their air conditioning system did go on the fritz our last two days there. While not optimal, they provided a fan as they worked on their system. Afterwards, they continued to apologize for the inconvenience and provided a little gift. The breakfast was very good. Not merely a Continental one. It was also quiet at night. Overall it was a very comfortable stay."

"The property is centrally located and a nice hotel. The rooms have very thin walls so quite noisy. There are no real amenities in the room or hotel but a great place to stay and easy."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hostel, visiting during the off-peak season (early May). I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable. One of my favourite features was the rooftop pool. Swimming there was especially enjoyable with the fragrant scent of what I believe was jasmine growing along the walls. There was also another rooftop seating area with a wonderful view of the surrounding neighbourhood. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in these communal spaces reading and journaling. While it was peaceful during my visit, I imagine they would have a lively and entertaining atmosphere during peak season. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The location was also ideal, with convenient access to local public transit. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return!"

"The climate control for the room worked great. The location of the hotel is good. I was able to find parking near the hotel on Sunday and was able to walk close by to take the Porto Metro to Baixo-Chiado and Chiado. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful."

"Good location next to the Metro and train station (didn't use the train) there is a wee supermarket in the train station which is nice just to get some snacks and drinks for the day. Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a yesteryear feel with modern amenities."

"The hotel is in a great location, walkable to town center. The rooms were beautiful and although our room did not get tidied on one of our evenings, it was completely understandable given the fact that care and attention was in abundance in all other areas. Sincere thanks to Barbara at the lobby bar for her kindness and suggestions of must eat local places. We will miss her graciousness and smiles. The management staff here is wonderful and really care about each guest, willing and ready to help in anyway possible. They have a wonderful rooftop bar called Seen. Highly suggest making reservations and enjoy great drinks and views. We had the opportunity to have a drink during the late afternoon but were unfortunately unable to re enter after our dinner. I assumed as hotel guests and according to the afternoon waitress, we would be welcomed to return in evening without reservations. Again, a misunderstanding and/or miscommunication of information. All in all, when we return to Lisbon, we would highly consider staying again. Looking forward to staying our way at the Tivoli Villamore in Faro in a couple of days!!"
