Wonderful stay. Stunning property, fabulous views, food was excellent, boat ride in our the Douro magical. Service could have been better - they were not as attentive as I would have liked to see for a property of this caliber.

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff is friendly, the hotel is brand new, the river view is amazing, great parking, easy access, safe area, buffet breakfasts are incredible, dinner on the pier is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful. We will be back.
My husband and I stayed there for our 2nd anniversary after a few days on the Porto side as we were touring a few port lodges. We loved our three night stay at Memoria Porto. The staff treated us like royalty and our room overlooked the Douro River. One tip, we can offer is to take the # 500 bus to the coast and pay a lot less for authentic Portugese food, wine, and beer. We will definitely be back. The morning breakfast was filling and delightful.
Hotel room was immaculate on arrival, 2 free water bottles, tea, chocolates and coffee. It was surprisingly quiet for the amount of rooms they have. Elevators are fast and there are 4 total, though only two go to the rooftop.
Rooftop was good, nothing crazy, it was packed but we were able to find a table and get drinks, they also serve food if you're hungry. The "pool" is shallow but I didn't see anyone inside, because it was windy and not super warm that week.

We like this hotel. It's located outside of the super busy and congested areas of old town, but it's still accessible by Metro (the station is across the street) or a cheap BOLT ride. The streets are FLAT! It's a 20 minute walk to old town with interesting architecture and shops along the way.

I had a great stay here for 3 days. The staff was so kind and helpful and the breakfast they brought to your room every morning was delicious! It was a nice, small boutique hotel. My room was the first one off the lobby so I didn't get to see much else, but from what I saw, the building was beautiful! I had a great view from my room with a balcony.
