It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. "I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"The hotel has been rented to Egyptian guy. We got to the hotel and we were told we will be sharing a bathrooms with other guest. i advise the front desk clerk i made my reservation for room with a view and will not be sharing bathroom with other guest. The hotel in under new ownership and the Egyptian guy sits at the entrance watching the guest( very uncomfortable and creepy and he is a chain smoker). a skinny dark skinned guy. "Ottima struttura per visitare e godersi la costa est di Zanzibar. Camere essenziali ma confortevoli, pulite e moderne. Staff super, Roberta e i colleghi ti fanno sentire davvero a casa. Il ristorante davvero ottimo sia per le colazioni sia per i pasti. Per chi cerca un’oasi di pace diversa dai classici resort (per vivere l’atmosfera di Zanzibar in modo più autentico) e della buona ospitalità (e cucina) italiana sicuramente è il posto giusto!
