I was in Kalamata for a wedding and couldn’t be happier with my stay! The hotel is located in a very peaceful area outside of city center but only about 10min taxi away from all the action. This is a great value in the Kalamata area. The only downside is that you are not right on the beach, but that is more than offset by the fact that, unlike the beach front, it is quiet, every room has a spectacular view and you don't even have to cross the street to go to the beach. I loved Mani!! Mani is very remote so make sure you reach out to the host at least 48 hours in advance to get the room number and check in instructions. We had some challenges accessing the room, but after an hour we were in with Alexander's assistance.

Charming central Kalamata hotel in a modernized and comfortable late 19th Century mansion. The hosts, George and Effi, are charming and helpful with dinner reservations, and local information. We will be back. Note- there isn't an elevator here but George is ever helpful with hauling the luggage up the stairs.
Very clean, safe, no frills hotel at great rate even for high season. We only spent the night and were not on the property much so cannot comment on pool or food quality but room was nice. Bathrooms could use updating and hallway lighting needs to improve. In the end though, an easy, affordable option.
