"Our first bump on our trip was that the transport company dropped us off at the wrong accommodation. We made one phone call and our host had come and picked us up without hesitation. The apartment was well appointed and decorated very nice. Usually when we rent a condo we have to clean it but this apartment was impeccably clean, even the floors. The pool area is a beautiful, peaceful haven filled with tropical fonna and flora. The apartment was in a safe area that was gated and walkable to nearby beaches, restaurants and activities. We often watched the sunset at Jan Thiel beach, had dinner and walked back to the apartment after dark with no problems. I asked the hosts for information and their response was immediate and helpful. If you like to walk, prepare meals and be in a safe area, then this place is where you should stay. 10/10"

"My stay at the Green Turtle Lodge exceeded my expectations. The host, Willem, was very responsive via WhatsApp, always quick to answer any questions. During check in he offered great suggestions on places to visit, which really helped us make the most of our time on the island. The apartment truly felt like a home away from home. As a family traveling with two teenagers, I especially appreciated having the ability to prepare our own meals and do laundry. These conveniences made our stay much more comfortable and also helped us save money. The accommodation was conveniently located, with Jan Thiel Beach about 10 minutes away and Mambo Beach also within easy reach. There was a small minimart less than five minutes away, which was very convenient for picking up essentials. I would definitely recommend renting a car to get the most out of the island and explore all that the island has to offer. Overall, we had a great stay at Green Turtle Lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. One thing to be aware of is that electricity is included up to 15 kWh per day, with an additional charge for usage above that. It’s something to keep in mind when planning your budget, especially when traveling with a family."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area is safe and better than I had expected. I had an amazing time here. I’d recommend making reservations for the restaurants somewhat early if you’d like a good spot to eat. Note that the complementary shuttle bus time is off as they did arrive 45 mins later than expected but that has nothing to do with the resort. Nice amount of shops around the resort. Would stay again!"
