Great location, across a nice shopping mall, very close to a beautiful park and the pedestrian old city. Perfect for us. Staff was very nice, especially Philip, Marian and Lena. Great place to stay with a dog as well. Everybody so welcoming towards our shy pup. Altogether great experience, would definitely recommend for anybody. Also great air conditioning and wifi!

In the morning, i had one of the cleaning staff try and entered my room as I was still sleeping. I woke up and luckily caught her at the entrance but could have been awkward otherwise.

I liked everything. Owners where very helpful. The hotel was awesome. Loved being able to eat on the balcony. Breakfast, anything you can think of. The fresh eggs are a big plus. Also some suppers that where excellent. The room was spacious and I appreciated a great shower. Windows that open up to let fresh air in. Lots of trees surrounding the property and a great yard for kids to play. So much to see in the hotel on the walls and everywhere.
We were 24 hour flight delay back home to Dallas and so I made reservations for Aschaffenburg, Germany. This little hotel has 39 rooms, two dining rooms and the best hosts I have ever had the opportunity to meet. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and large. We had tea in the dining room, my husband entertained us on the keyboard and they catered to us as if we were royalty. Ready to go back. Don’t miss out on the gem of a place located across the street from the Johannesburg Castle....
Our stay at the lake hotel was simply wonderful. The room was very spacious, cozy, and tastefully furnished. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was excellent. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, and the evening meals were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the sauna, the hotel’s private beach right on the lake, and our large terrace. In short, we highly recommend this hotel.
