"Very calm and nice area. Very close to sigmond thun. We had booked mountain view room with balcony and it was spectacular. Breakfast was good with plenty of veg options."

"1- hotel was not clean and full of bugs and spiders. It was in yhe ceiling (photo attached) 2- No wifi given 3- no tv was at the room although it says in the hooking that there is a tv. 4- towels are so old and could not even use them! Photo attached. 5- i supposed to have connecting rooms with 2 king beds. I ended up in 2 rooms one with king and the second with 2 bunk beds. Also the door between the connecting room was squeaky. My son ended up sleeping in the floor in the same room with us. 6-...

"It was a very nice stay. The hotel staff was helpful. My only bad experience was the coffee and tea served at breakfast. I tried your breakfast on my first morning. I don't think I have ever had worse coffee than what you served there. The tea selection was also very cheap. Because of the coffee experience, I decided to have breakfast elsewhere for the rest of my stay."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Kaprun. 5 minute walk downhill to the town centre. Good skiing and apres ski. Enjoyed the spa facilities in the hotel. Definitely recommend it and we’ll stay again. "

"Very noisy hotel, I’d avoid if your looking for a good nights sleep. Coaches pulling up outside throughout the night dropping off and or collection people. Inadequate lifts for size of hotel, just one lift serving two of five floors. No air conditioning even in breakfast room. I will not stay here again. "

"Great stay at Gast House! Loved the room, spacious and felt very newly renovated. Perfectly situated in the village with a 2min walk for a morning dip in the beautiful lake, and 2-3min from all the restaurants in the center. Really liked the breakfast as well! Had everything you could ask for and a lot of super fresh fruits. Spa and sauna was also nice and felt very clean. Definitely recommend!"

"This was a lovely hotel - particularly in the bar and reception area. We ate at their restaurant and the food was fabulous if a little pricey. The rooms were spacious and clean (we had a superior double) and it’s incredibly well placed in the centre of Zell am See so plenty of buses to other ski areas. The towels were a little on the small side and quite harsh and the body and hair gel was not replaced often enough so we ran out twice. "Everything is great about this resort- from hotel, restaurant food, rooms, swimming pools, ski slopes logistics and customer service. I will visit again in a heartbeat. The only con is- the blankets are too small but this is normal for Austria and Germany, I noticed. Totally recommend."

"Alpenhaus Kaprun is a fabulous hotel - great location for ski lifts and shops, very comfortable and spacious rooms, really great food (we were half board) and super friendly and accommodating staff. If we come back to Kaprun in winter (or summer) we will certainly stay here again. Huge thanks to the whole team at Alpenhaus."
