"We loved this hotel. Breakfast dinner and afternoon tea was included. It's in a beautiful old castle but totally updated.
We did have an issue though. Their is no room clean unless you request it. We had a 4 night stay and after the 2nd night I requested a room clean as our shampoo/ body wash bottles were less than a quarter fill. Our room was not cleaned that day as they said it would be but as I only told reception that morning I gave them another day. Again the room wasn't clean and we were totally out of everything in the bathroom. I believe after 3 days a room clean should be automatically done especially as towels and bathroom amenities required replacing. But again our room wasn't clean. We went down to reception and they had our towels changed and filled the bottles in the shower within half an hour of us. But I still believe after if a room is occupied by the 3rd night there should be an automate clean."
"Great hotel! 5 mins from main station and walkable to everything! I never took another train after I arrived. Nice to be central so I could come back for mid day breaks. Great view from my room. Clean and very nice accommodation. The breakfast was also lovely, so huge and many options. Quiet rooms. Staff was great. Elevators quick. I highly recommend this stay and so happy I chose this stay!"

Room was pretty big and had everything you would expect, including a fridge. Bed was reasonably comfortable, though the inner part of the duvet was a bit yellow, which was off-putting (I guess where it had been repeatedly handled to get it into the duvet cover). Maybe these could do with a wash. The floor was made of two sections which were joined by a metal strip. The screws that held the metal strip were half missing and some were halfway unscrewed, which could have been quite painful if you stood on them or kicked them.
Shower in the room was nice, but the door wouldn't fully close. It stayed ajar by about 2cm, meaning some water got out into the room.
I tried the gym, but not the sauna. The gym was relatively small and warm (dont think it was air conditioned). There was no treadmill, so I had a go on one of the bikes.
Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and the food was nice. Lots of seats to choose from.
Location of the hotel was reasonably good, although there weren't any metro or tram stops nearby, so it was usually a 5-10 min walk to get to a stop.
Air conditioning didn’t seem to do much. Certainly didn't blast cool air like some hotel air con units. Luckily hasn't too hot when I was there so it wasnt an issue."
"I had a long layover in Helsinki so decided to stay in town and explore the city in the morning. The property is conveniently located in the city center and can be reached on foot or by tram from the central train station.
I had communicated to the property in advance that I would be arriving late.. and check in went very smoothly. I was able to quickly get into my room - which was very cozy and well appointed.
In the morning I headed to the hotel sauna before heading out to the city to explore. Helped me warm up and relax.
All in all this was a solid property with friendly staff and I’d definitely stay again."
"Everything about this hotel was perfect from the moment I arrived. The staff at reception were very welcoming when i checked in and provided clear information about hotel services and dining options. My room on the 6th floor was spotless, well maintained and very comfortable. It was cleaned every day to a very high standard.
The bed was also very comfortable and I had some great nights sleeps. Noise from outside was minimal and I had no disturbances at all.
Food in the evening at the restaurant was high quality and my favourite meals of the trip. Breakfast was similarly to a high standard and very enjoyable and plentiful.
One of my best stays in a hotel over the last year and will look forward to coming back."
"I'm giving Hotel Finn a high score for the value we received. We had a nice room in a convenient location for a reasonable price. It's a fairly low frills property but it offers good value. We would stay here again."
