We could not have enjoyed our stay at Azade and Crete more. The location in old town is so convenient and close to all shops, restaurants and beaches. Staff were attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable. They even prepared us a breakfast to pick up when we had an early morning tour to Samaria Gorge. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. We loved our stay.

When I say this hotel is a five star experience, it even feels like an understatement. From the staff to the view and the idyllic environment, The Theodore is perfection. I hesitate to even write a review because I worry it will get overrun with tourists, but not writing it would be a disservice to the hotel. It’s beyond expectations. A perfect place for a quiet beach stay. Thank you Theodore!!!

Amazing experience and such a kid friendly location

Positives: The hotel looks very nice, rooms are cleaned daily, change of towels and linen every 3rd day. Bed very comfortable, good quality linen and pillows. Did not use the pool, but it looked very clean and good sized. Tavronitis is not very interesting place but is excellent starting point for exploring the western part of the island, being close to the best beaches, as well as to the city of Chania and the nice little villages. Many good restaurants and other places nearby (like Kolymbari)....

Great studio with kitchen close to stores and beach. I enjoyed seeing cute Santorini looking Greek church every day too close by. Pool was clean and 2 days I had to myself

Super nice staff. Very quite place, and there's a grocery store right across the street. However, It seemed that I was the only one guest due to the off-season

I stayed at Rita for 6 nights and I could have stayed longer. It was a beautiful view from my room and I loved sitting in the balcony and watching the ocean and the mountains. The host Mr Shapiro was really nice and welcoming. He was very friendly and we talked about many things. The neighbors in the apartment were also very nice. It was a calm and secluded area, perfect for a relaxing stay. There are shops and restaurants and bus stop close by at a walking distance.

It was an amazing experience at the resort. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool area and beach. A few small improvements would make the experience even more consistent with a five-star hotel: adding extra towel or robe hooks in the shower area, installing a hygienic shower in the bathroom, and providing a capsule coffee machine in the room.
