"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the InterContinental Hotel in Crete. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel was beautifully designed, my room was comfortable and spotless, and the views were breathtaking. The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the location was perfect for enjoying everything Crete has to offer. Every detail made my stay feel special. I highly recommend the InterContinental Hotel in Crete and would happily return!"

"The staff were amazing, front desk very helpful and available 24 hours a day. The rooms are pretty basic, but have everything you need. One of my bath towels was dirty at arrival but was switched out quickly by the staff. The food buffet is good, lot of variety however the seating in the dining area is partially inside and out. If the weather is poor and outdoor seating isn't open then finding somewhere to sit can be frustrating."

"This is a fabulous 5* gem, and we had a great time. Positives: Stunning hotel, extremely cleanl, lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds and showers, lovely happy friendly staff. A hotel with great ambience, luxury all neatly bundled up into a lovely package and we'll be back again soon. Also so quiet, even though the hotel was not empty. Negatives - 5 restaurants, unchanging menu, even in the main buffet restaurant, so choices were lacking by the end. Rooms were not serviced if you missed the early morning rounds. Having returned to our rooms in the afternoon/evening, our room would not have been cleaned - this didn't phase us that much. Overall: We visited end of September (after school holiday period) when the weather was turned cooler and windier. The pool was too cold to enjoy and was avoided by most guests. A regulated pool would be much better. Same for the bedroom pools - we didnt use ours as the water was on par to having an ice-dip. This was the same for many of the other rooms we could see."
