"This hotel is in a fabulous location and has direct access by walkways over the road to both streets, one side Chinatown, the other towards Clarke Quay, five minutes walk away. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore Singapore."

"Convenient as it is situated in Clark Quay and just a few minutes walk to MRT. There lots of places of interest within the area that is walkable on cloudy weather. The rooms are sufficient for couples but you must only have carry on luggage as it will not conducive for large luggages. The light breakfast is also good and the place always smells fresh. "
"Great location above a large mall with a large food court. Centrally located within walking distance of the museum, Arab quarter and many famous shopping streets and hawker halls. They do a great job of sharing common spaces if you need to hang out after you have checked out and are waiting to head to the airport. Loved it!!"

"Hotel was in great location 5 mins walking to China district and a few more to Clarke Quay. Marina Bay was also a 15 min walk. Staff food and drink was also great."
"We enjoyed being close to the river walks and places to eat. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Public transport is across the road so easy to get around."
"Good sized room with a balcony. Bathroom could definitely do with an upgrade, but everything was well maintained and staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, with a short, safe walk across an overpass to get to the river and all the restaurants. It is also very close to a bus stop, and the MRT is just a short stroll away, which makes traveling around an absolute breeze."

"No qualms with this stay. Th e location was fantastic 10 minute walk to Chinatown. Between two train stations. Breakfast was good. The room was cozy."
"Location was excellent, located within a walking distance to City hall MRT which was convenient for going around the city. Clarke’s quay is also within a walking distance. The receptionist were extremely helpful at both check in and out. I will definitely be back. "

"We’ve stayed in a number of hotels In Singapore and this is up with the best. It’s classic, but loads of style, all of which has been modernised to a high standard. The location, staff, and breakfast are excellent. I also feel it’s very good value for money. Will stay here again."
"Staffs are nice and they can speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
Location is good and it’s convenient for tourist to take public transportation.
Just found a little bit dirty in the quilt.
Overall it is a good choice for choosing this hotel."
"excellent place for a stopover. Very close (just a few metres) from the Metro so dead easy with luggage. Walk outside and there are restaurants and bars within steps.
Quiet. Great pool.
I've stayed here many many times and always come back to it."
"Great hotel located on waterfront so you can walk to bars and restaurants. Clark quay 20 minutes walk. Staff helpful nice pool area breakfast very good selection. Only negative was that there is a lack of seating in the reception area. What stay here again and recommend."

Beautiful hotelninna very nice atea conveniently located near a popular waterfront area. Nightlife all around. Near the subway. About a 20 minute drive to Changi.
Excellent location for MRT, Marina Bay Area, Merlion Park, China Town. Hotel swimming pool was excellent to cool off mid day and return to sightseeing. Also close to Hawker for variety local food at cheap prices. I would return here on my next stay.
Wonderful and convenient hotel. Very helpful and responsive team at front desk. Outstanding location - centrally located with easy access to most places via public transit and / or walk. Located above a mall with fantastic food options.
We booked the Prestige Room with a harbor view and lounge services. So far, the lounge is the best I’ve experienced. The staff are friendly, the food quality is excellent, and the room is well soundproofed and impeccably clean.
I have traveled to 50+ country's and have never had a better hotel experience. They have a complimentary airport pick up which was nice, since after 30 hrs of travel time I did not have to deal with public transportation or a taxi.
The driver was there after collecting my bags at 12:30am.
On arrival to the hotel they delivered my bags to my room while I registered. They also provide a welcome drink.
During my stay I noticed some water on the floor (coming from the AC) I notified the...
I enjoyed this stay at the Furama City Centre. I find it convenient for shoppers and visiting tourist spots around the city. My room was an executive club room which was large and clean. The only thing I had issue was the fact that housekeeping is only done every third day.
The Carleton is my #1 choice when in Singapore The value and location is my main reasons for choosing the Carleton over all other hotels in the area. The Raffles Hotel, Chines and Raffles City mall is literally a walk across the street. There is a food pavilion with small restaurants and bars with live entertainment and TV's for sports in the lower courtyard. The MRT is a short walk. The Buffet is good and their Chinese restaurant is even better. For value comparison J.W in Southbeach " which is...
We stayed at this hotel for a week. We liked the atmosphere in the hotel.
Next to the hotel is a bus station, including for bus 36 which is a direct connection to the airport. Hotel is also near metro stations Orchard and Somerset.
The area of the hotel is lively with lots of shops and restaurants.
The room was very nice and had all facilities, including complimentary water bottles and a fridge.
Great bed!
The staff was helpful and friendly, especially Rasheed.
The breakfast was included...
Absolutely a stellar experience. Staff is first rate. Location is perfect and convenient to just about everything. The room is outstanding. The shower is THE best I have ever experienced anywhere, period. Not an inexpensive property, BUT well worth the price of admission for a perfect Singapore stay.
Even though the hotel was undergoing renovations everything went very smoothly. I have never gotten such fast service when u called house keeping , room service, concierge etc. they were "spot on". It was an excellent stay and when I return to Singapore I'll be at the Riverview for sure. Location is fantastic for night life. You can walk to so many places. Perfect in my estimation in every way.
