No restaurant, pool or bar but that's not a criticism; it's a plus! Nice quiet environment. Spend the extra and get the sea view. Great to spend the early morning/evening before going out relaxing on the balcony with a complimentary tea, coffee or glass of wine. Refrigerator restocked every day for free with wine, juices, water and chocolate. Wine, tea and coffee available in foyer all day with a nice seating area outside. On a 7-city trip through southern Spain, this was our favorite hotel. Steps away from the Balcon de Europa, the hotel was bright and airy, with a roof-top pool with views of the Mediterranean Sea. This was one of the few hotels we found that offered a free breakfast and it was a great one. Two nights at this hotel was less than one night at many of the other hotels we stayed it. I highly recommend it!

Great 2 night stay at Casa Mercedes. The room (mini suite) was very spacious as was the bathroom (2 shower heads) and the king size bed. The patio had a spectacular view overlooking the city and the ocean. Kitchen staff went above and beyond at breakfast and were warm and welcoming. The location was good- only a short 10min walk to the beach (but it’s downhill so coming uphill back to the property may not be good for people with mobility issues).
