"While a little dated, the room was clean, large and well appointed. We made good use of the excellent spa, pool and grounds. We ate at the restaurant and had, in my opinion the best meal on our 10 day euro motorcycle tour. A simple,but stunning 4 cheese pizza with a large weisbier. Perfect!"

"I stumbled upon Sombea during a trip through Southern Germany, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. "Very nice staff and clean rooms. Easy access from parking garage and multiple restaurants nearby. Downside is the lack of airco or climate control, but they supply a fan if needed."

"Unfortunately after the first night the room was not cleaned up. Breakfast was delicious and properly assorted with all you need for a good start. The hotel is located in Schwenningen in a quite area and not far from the main attractions of the south black forest: triberg, gengenbach, schillach, halstach, fribourg, titisee. Villingen is nearby and suggested for the dinner."
