Amritara Beach Symphony is a little paradise. I loved my bungalow and enjoyed being close to the public beach where local families turn out to watch the sunset and fishermen haul in their catch in the morning. The pool is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was attentive and helpful and arranged an amazing sunrise backwater boat tour. It felt like home-- would definitely stay again! Expedia needs to remove some of the older reviews for this spot as they don't reflect current...

Well maintained grounds, beautiful gardens and paths and the construction is fashioned as traditional Kerala home villas. This is a must stay property. Food was good and they have lots of activities for the families. The staff is pleasant but not uniformly friendly and not everyone is attentive as other places. I feel they could work on this piece. It seemed some were not happy working at the property and were just getting by. All that being said, I would return to this resort and wish I could...

I recently stayed at Eighth Bastion during our trip to Fort Kochi and it was excellent experience. Staff was excellent and ready to assist. My room was spacious, clean and and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, it had a great variety of fresh, delicious options. The location was walkable to beach, water metro and great attractions, also there are great cafe's closeby. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Overall a very well maintained and clean hotel. We ordered the room service chicken tikka pizza...wow excellent! The breakfast was tasty, I appreciated that the hotel rang us to remind us about the free breakfast. My one complaint is that the the hotel staff reminded us three time there would be a few if we created any stain on the sheets. No issue about the requirement just don't mention it three times during check in, we are the customers after all. Overall great place will stay again.
