This is an historic property with the charm and quirks that come with something that's been around many years. There were many improvements being made to the property while we were there. "The rooms were a nice size with a little living room, with couch, but it could use a little updating. Beds were comfortable but had to ask for extra blankets. The breakfast was basic with waffle maker, boiled eggs and yogurt. Good coffee. Staff were friendly. "

"Even though the place is under renovation--currently the entire first floor is being worked on, we were there on a Saturday night, so no work was going on. The room we had, not yet renovated, was very nice and comfortable, quiet, good AC, comfortable bed. We liked it and would go back."
