Perfect location, right by the Julemarkd and a short walk to the things I wanted to do. I was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend the Hotel Norge highly and will stay there again.
Due to flight delays we arrived at Zander K at midnight with hopes that the hotel would not be frustrated by our late arrival. To our surprise the front desk was very quick and friendly. Room was small but clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Zander K gets top marks from us.
This property is a true gem. If you want mints on your pillow go somewhere else. If you want a very clean, very quiet, very functional retreat from the rat race this place is like a dream. I heartily recommend this property. It is delightfully quaint, yet you will have EVERYTHING you need for a lovely stay.
This hotel was amazing! I was traveling with my two adult children and we had the perfect room - a “family” room. I called before we arrived to see if we could get a room on the wharf side and when we hot there they had made it happen! The breakfast was delicious and had so many options. We never left hungry! It is right by the fish pier so all of the things you may want to do are within walking distance or a bus stop. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else - this place is wonderful!!!
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location...The room as large and very nice, the hotel is beautiful, location could not have been better...just steps from the fish market and shopping in the harbor...oh and do not miss the breakfast buffet -it's excellent!
The attic room had two comfortable twin beds, though I was hlad I had brought my squishy pillow with me. The breakfasts were amazing but the dinners only mediocre…nice in that the meals were included in the price. Located one block back from the main tourist, shopping and harbor areas, it was quiet but central. I would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed this as our final stay in Norway after 2 weeks. It was idyllic, scenic, and we loved the hens and chicks free ranging on the property! So cute.
The only confusion was that there isn't any signage directing you where to go when you arrive. We accidentally went to the door of their main home that is pictured in the Expedia listing, instead of the home that is the rental described. I had to message them when we arrived for clarification.
Other than that, the stay was very relaxing....
