"Great location on Gran Via in Madrid. Would highly recommend if you want a centrally located hotel that's not directly on a crazy busy square. Gran Via is busy, but once you get into the lobby / into hotel, it's quiet and a peaceful oasis. Room was great, would stay again."

"The staff of Montera are truly the best. Everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable. At one point, the concierge went up the street and down an elevator to the Metro station to make sure it would be running the next day when we were leaving. "

Some work being done at the bottom of the building was quite noisy one night but it didn’t last long. Very comfy beds, and AC too. Perfect location for shoppers and loads of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. 15 min walk to plaza major"

"The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Air conditioning and tv, and a well situated bathroom. The location was ideal, around the corner from a main road and metro station, with lots of shops and restaurants. Check in time was fairly early, and the check in and out process was very easy. I would definitely stay here again!"
