We absolutely loved our stay at Amata Lanna. The hotel itself was beautiful and welcoming. Our rooms were airy, open and large. The hotel was nice, but there was no one to check us in... We decided to stay extra days but the app would not load.. So we went to the city 4 the day.. We arrive back @ the room @ 4pm to find out the owner was ready to call the police cause we did not check out @ noon & R stuff was still in the room... But the hotel has no front desk or any one to Chek in with! The maid was very rude & did not speek a word of English... For 10bucks a night the hotel is very nice... But trying to check in was...

What a wonderful place to stay in Chiang Mai. Brand new hotel that appears to be family run. The staff in this hotel were extremely eager to please. Served a personalized hot breakfast each morning and helped to arrange transportation back to the airport for us at 4:15am. Hotel room was clean, the bed was advertised as a double, but was queen size. You cannot beat this hotel for the money. I would highly recommend.

This is such a CUTE hotel located in the center of the Old City. Walking distance to just about everything. You step out of the hotel and part of the Sunday night market is at your fingertips. The 3 Sisters that own/run the hotel are absolutely AMAZING!!! They made our taxi accommodations and our cooking class accommodation and were happy to do so. These 3 sisters are so very sweet.
