We absolutely loved our stay at Amata Lanna. The hotel itself was beautiful and welcoming. Our rooms were airy, open and large. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, including the owner who we had the pleasure of meeting. Someone was always there to help with questions/suggestions and calling cabs to get around. The location was great, only about a 10 minute cab ride into the Old City. The breakfast that they provide is delicious and fresh. The only issue we had was when coming back...
We absolutely loved our stay there! Such fantastically nice service. A lot more included in the room than they advertise up front, tons of snacks and drinks, etc. Rooms are beautifully kept classic designs, with extremely high ceilings.

The hotel was nice, but there was no one to check us in... We decided to stay extra days but the app would not load.. So we went to the city 4 the day.. We arrive back @ the room @ 4pm to find out the owner was ready to call the police cause we did not check out @ noon & R stuff was still in the room... But the hotel has no front desk or any one to Chek in with! The maid was very rude & did not speek a word of English... For 10bucks a night the hotel is very nice... But trying to check in was...
Very centrally located; probably our favorite hotel we stayed at in Thailand (of 6 total) for service, friendliness, and buffet. Right across street from a great, energetic local people's park.
Probably the nicest hotel stay we have ever had! Owner family on premises, and available to assist you without being too pushy. You had your privacy, but they were always available to provide information and help when needed. Very welcoming.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. Rody at the front desk, as well as the entire concierge staff were very helpful and arranged everything, from airport transfer, tour packages, dinner reservations, etc perfectly and with warm smile and chat. I had a great time. The dim sum restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced.

We loved everything about this jewels. When we arrived Pennee welcomed us and checked us is. She was absolutely amazing, helped with any questions or concerns. She was very helpful throughout the entire stay. Hotel is funcky, modern and very comfortable. Pool is coozy and relaxing. Location was pretty good too. Walking distance from many restaurants, temples and shops. If you like the night life and the night market, this hotel is a bit far from it, but tuk tuk rides were pretty cheap. Breakfast...
Everything from the rooms, the staff, complimentary breakfast, were fantastic. Great location away from all the hostels/party scenes, but still close enough for cheap cab rides just about anywhere. Can’t say enough about the staff, so wonderful. Don’t miss this hotel if you plan on staying in Chiang Mai!
