I had a great stay here. The staff were excellent. Orlando was very helpful with information, Michael who worked the bar was also very friendly and always good for a good conversation while having a drink he made you.
The concept of no contact with human was a little strange at first. I did need help getting in. Once I saw the lovely apartment stile rooms and found the access card, all was well!
Great location for rail travel (3 minute walk to station). Great breakfast with many options. Room could have a better layout (no bedside table, no bedside charging). No kettle or fan in the room, which would be nice to have. Would definitely stay here again when Oslo rates are very high
We particularly enjoyed the beautiful views of the Oslofjord and the amazing buffet breakfast ! The staff at the reception and the restaurant are always kind and helpful.
I wasn't entirely sure about this place given the lack of information, but I'm glad we ended up camping here. I opted for the new glamping tents which were fantastic! The camp itself is primarily families who've been coming to this location (and the camp next door) for decades so it's not exactly a place for tourists... it's a place to experience, particularly to see nature in action - clean water, the Nordic summer sun, great people. This was easily the highlight of our 3-week vacation....
