This hotel was one of two unexpected gems. I cannot stress this enough, people. GO here. And get a room with a lake view. Pay extra for it if you have to, it's SO worth it. The look on my mother's face when she walked outside.... I've never been to Como, and my mother has never been outside the US. The hotel staff was BEYOND helpful and friendly. The staff is attentive and they maintain the property well-kept. This is a simple yet clean hotel with all your basics. And, it is literally a few steps away from the main train station as well as from the border crossing to Como, Italy. It offers a strategic location getting the best of both worlds: Switzerland and Italy.

We arrived at the Poli after a long day driving. It was a wonderfully pleasant surprise. It is clear they have a lot of pride in their hotel; room was spacious and comfortable; staff friendly; priced great; breakfast was fresh with lots of choices. We did not want to drive in Milan so parked at a nearby metro station and it was very easy to get right downtown with no hassles. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

What makes the difference is the staff, they make you feel welcomed and are very helpful. Admittedly the fist impression was a bit off. We typically stay in major chain hotels and our initial impression was that the location would not workout for us. However this quickly faded and our stay was quite pleasant. We had the most wonderful stay. The Hotel is exceptional with fine interior design and art along with all the luxurious amenities. We stayed in a room with the most beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend getting a room with a view. Our Breakfast and dinners were delicious, our room was spotless and pristine, the spa was super relaxing and the staff were Top Notch. We had the best time and recommend this beautiful hotel to others to enjoy.

This is a beautiful hotel with a full delicious breakfast buffet of hot foods and ham, cheeses, etc. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious and it’s located on the waterfront. This is an awesome hotel. It is modern clean, with friendly and helpful staffs. It is centrally located within a few minutes walking distances to restaurants, supermarkets and shopping centers. You can travel to anywhere from from the Busto Arsizio train station, a few kilometers away. Although you can walk from the hotel to the train station, I would not recommend it. Stayed at this location and can't say anything but good stuff about the hotel and the staff. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the breakfast was definitely the best we had during our month long vacation in Europe. I highly recommend this hotel.

Walk out of terminal 2 and across street and your there. After a long day traveling I was glad not having to take another shuttle or taxi. Check in was super easy .there is a bar and food right there in lobby. Yes the food was pretty good.
