Hotels in Latin Quarter

The property was very charming. It was a short drive into Galway and had lots of parking available. The gardens were lively but we weren't able to use the outdoor space due to the weather. The breakfasts were incredible and the host, Derek, was very helpful with suggestions on everything from parking downtown to nearby sites to see.

Parking was not on-site, but was right next door and a discounted rate. Hotel was an easy 100 ft from the ramp. Busy area right on the main pedestrian walkway. Easy walking access to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff both in the hotel and the 1520 pub.

Great location for walking downtown Galway

This property is adorable! Beware: there is no lift, the stairs are narrow and the room is tiny. With that said, we loved it. The rooms are identified by the names of authors, the breakfast is ample and the location offers multiple options for food and drink steps from your door.

Maura was a delightful host and accommodated our every need. We appreciated the two basins in the morning getting ready for our day!

A very nice hotel with a great location, only a block from the train. Easy to walk everywhere. By far the friendliest staff of any of the hotels we stayed at in Ireland. Would recommend to friends and family.

This was a lovely large room in a stately home tucked away from the lively Salt Hill seaside promenade. Unfortunately we hit rush hour traffic as we approached. inching through the busy Salt Hill city center. We arrived during a rare heat wave. Like most accommodations in Ireland, there were was no AC or fans and no television. There was not a tea kettle in the room, but the house offered use of a large communal kitchen where some guests apparently cooked dinner (based on cleaned dishes drying...

The area of town is nothing special, but we enjoyed watching rugby practice at the adjacent pitch. Two issues were the shower; the pressure was good but the design is poor. There was water all over the floor afterwards. The second issue was really poor service in the restaurant, both at dinner and at breakfast. Apparently, being short handed is an issue outside of the US as well.

The staff definitely made us feel welcomed and the room felt nice even though the bed didn’t feel unclean though that was the only flaw I’d say it had

This accommodation was nothing short of incredible. Sylvia was so kind and communicative. The place was clean and spacious in an incredible location. We had the best time and would come back again!

Amazing hosts very friendly, gave us a tour of all the facilities. If you love BnBs that are more off the beaten path then this is for you. The drive is absolutely lovely up a mountain and around the coast (wild Atlantic way)! It’s only 30 min to the cliffs, and there are towns nearby. The BnB is so charming with lovely communal rooms. The Kinvara Guesthouse is a jewel. It's big-city lodging in a small, cozy Irish town. It's the kind of town one sees in Irish travel books and brochures. Parking is available in front of the guesthouse, on the street, essentially. They have an elevator (lift) which was a big help for my wife (and me with our luggage). We had a huge room on the second floor with a view of the "plaza" in front of the guesthouse. The bathroom was more than adequate. Our only complaint is that there were no wash...

We were relieved to find this very nice place to stay. We had come from Galway where there were zero vacancies. This morning we had a dreamy visit to Thoor Balley.

Wonderful room, terrific staff, everything about this property went above and beyond our expectations.
