A perfectly adequate hotel. We ended up staying here for three separate nights at the beginning, middle, and end of a trek in the nearby mountains. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel, but also can’t say there is any reason to stay here other than the convenient location. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful.
This hotel was a wonderful surprise. It is a bit outside of Chamonix center, which we were not expecting (in the Argentiere area, only a 10-15 min train ride but too far to walk) and can be inconvenient late at night as public transportation closes early. However, the hotel itself is gorgeous and we never wanted to leave, so it wasn't a problem :) We recieved a free upgrade to a beautiful large room with a view. This place is amazing! Off the charts spa. Staff goes above and beyond. Joao was great as was Tiffen. THe rooms were clean and perfect! The town is beautiful, skiing is very close. Great mountain!
Stayed overnight in this quaint hotel and loved it! Was within walking distance to Castle Chillon. Was given discounts to the castle, excursion to Rochers de Naye and bus/train. Breakfast provided in the morning. Would stay again!
We loved everything about the hotel and staff; and it is perfectly located. Ask for room with a balcony overlooking the pool for best views!! Don’t forget your bathing suits.
One of the only hotels I have visited wher everything is top notch. Very traditional and courteous staff. Excellent food. Produce is local sourced from their own garden. I would visit this place anytime. Very nice town.
This is my 3rd time staying at Hotel Heliopic. There is simply no other hotel I would choose in Chamonix. As far as value, Heliopic should be deemed a 6 star hotel. Between the fabulous, helpful, patient, informative, and accommodating staff, and the numerous little complimentary touches and amenities in the hotel, I consider Heliopic one of my favorite hotels to stay at in the world. We had a lovely time in Chamonix and the hotel stay was perfect. The only difficulty was bringing bags up three flights of stairs, but the place is too small to have an elevator.
Room was gorgeous! Nice patio and lots of windows. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Nice restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are very friendly.
