Excellent stay here, 3 minute walk from the train station. Beautiful views. The staff who I believe were the owners went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They go the extra mile prepping breakfast. Would recommend to any of my family members or friends.
Incredible views outside my widow. Breakfast was excellent-eggs, variety of meats and cheese, dried fruits, yogurt, waffle/bread. Location was about 20 minute walk ( hilly) to Interlaken ost. (Coop across station). Bus 102 stop is few yards from hotel ( brings you to Interlaken ost in 5-10 minutes). Friendly staff. Grocery next door has meat/cheese. Walkable to Lake Brienze .
Definitely will stay again in the hotel. Highly recommended!!
Note: The room did not have AC which is totally understandable in this hotel. Opening the windows and using the provided fans was enough for me and my family.
Like going back in time. Classical European hotel. Had a gorgeous spacious suite. Bathroom fixtures were a bit dated and the shower/tub was unusually high and difficult to get in and out of. But location was fantastic. 2 minute walk to take the funicular up to Harder Kulm. 3 minute walk to Interlaken Ost train station. Plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. If you are looking for a hotel in the central Interlaken area this is a very nice option.
The property is very clean, quiet and the staff were very helpful - loaning us a wine key and an adaptor for our electronics. The room was warm to our liking so we slept with the door open. Unfortunately the church bells toll every 15 minutes so sleeping was tough.
The views from the balcony of our 442 room were breathtaking and we were able to have dinner out on the table outside.
Who are we? We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys. We booked the family suite with two connecting rooms, one with a double bed and a small one with 2 twins. We were looking for medium-priced accommodations.
This staff is FABULOUS. Every person is warm and friendly, and they went out of their way to make us welcome. John, one of the waitstaff, is amazing. Start up a conversation with him!
The hotel is older, in the old town section of Interlaken/Unterseen, close to the action, but...
Everything is great. Rooms are spacious, staff is very friendly. The only thing they can improve is have a slightly bigger size of blankets / comforters. Overall very satisfied with our stay in the property.
Fantastic hotel with very helpful staff! Right in the heart of the shops and other restaurants. Easy access to train and bus. Fondue Krebs was the best of the 4 fondue’s we had on our trip! Fantastic breakfast with made to order eggs (fill out a sheet) Also, the bartender provided us ice for our room. Hotel has a vintage romance feel to it. Was a great place to stay and easy train access to Grindlewald and Lauterbrennen. Boat ride on the lake also recommended!

Beautiful hotel. In the heart of Interlaken. Close to the train station + short driving distance to the Falls. Looked like a great spa but we couldn’t use it because of Covid. - you need a Swiss Covid QR to enter Spas + restaurants. Otherwise a beautiful experience.
