"When we checked in we had been upgraded to a suite which was spacious and comfortable. Large bed, plenty of hot water and toiletries provided. Daily housekeeping. A nice swimming pool on the roof an ideal place to cool off after sightseeing. There was a good variety of English and Indian style foods for breakfast. Friendly helpful staff who provided us with a complimentary packed breakfast on the day of our departure as we had a 5.30am start. We would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in...

"Great heritage hotel !!! We do not get service like this in the USA!!!! From the time we arrived the staff was engaging, attentive and knowledgeable. So many little things made out stay memorable. Our room was like a suite, clean and welcoming. From the afternoon tea to the nightly entertainment. The front desk staff were very professional, friendly and outgoing. "We actually unfortunately saw our room and decided to go somewhere else. We honestly meant to book Hotel Amar (similar name with same logo) so we left our booking and went and booked a room in Hotel Amar just two buildings down. The staff was really nice and understanding! "
