Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol

"The woman who works in the bar at the Wyndham pool was rude. This was to myself, my partner and another woman waiting to purchase a she certainly didn’t look like she wanted to be there an so think she is the wrong career. When the woman next to my trying to her attention the colleague still ignored us and this time she swore at us in Spanish! "
"Ideally located opposite the beach and marina, with supermarkets, shops and bars all within easy walking distance. We booked half board and, despite arriving after 10pm, were pleasantly surprised to find lovely plated salads and cheese boards waiting for us in the restaurant.
The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming and engaging. There was entertainment in the bar each evening which seemed popular, although it wasn’t really our thing. Drinks in the bar were also very reasonably priced.
The food was good overall with plenty of choice at meal times. The pool area is on the smaller side, but we never struggled to get sunbeds. Pool bar food was also good, with a varied menu and attentive service.
We stayed in a Triple Deluxe Sea View room for three adults and it felt surprisingly spacious, with a good-sized balcony and large bathroom — although the sliding bathroom door was definitely more style over substance and slightly annoying!
As we had an evening flight home, we were able to pay for a late check-out until 6pm, which was really helpful. The hotel also allowed us to store our luggage for an extra hour before we left for the airport.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. Great location, friendly staff and good value for money. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would happily return."
