"This hotel is perfectly located, beach right in front. Various restaurants, shops and bars. The hotel is right by Pos1 1. The rooftop bar is excellent , facing the beach, small pool but who needs a pool of you have the beach right in front you. Close access to everything. Drive from GIG airport 35/40 minutes. Close to Sugarloaf and Cristo Redentor 10 minutes drive with traffic. When are searching for location on Expedia include LEME."

"5 min walk to Copacabana Beach. Near lots of stores and restaurants. You can book tours directly through the hotel and they make it super easy for you. The bar and pool on the roof has a great view of the beach. Rooms and a bit outdated but it was a quick overnight stay so it wasn’t a big deal. "

You were paying more for the location than the amenities - it's not a hotel you stay at all day, but it's perfectly fine and safe as a home base to go into Rio "
