Great Resort, unbeatable location and wonderful staff. We had the best time of our life over the 8 days spent in the hotel just last week. Could not ask for more. Staff is so friendly, amenities are amazing and management makes you wish all hotels were this well managed. Although quite a distance from the Pacific Northwest, we may consider visiting the Maldives again and staying at Baros.

This resort should be rated five star not for everything was exceptional. The food, service, the accommodations! The beaches were crystal-clear, turquoise, and calm and beautiful!
This hotel is located just 15-20 mins by boat from the airport. The island is small enough to be intimate but large enough to go for a long good walk. And if you don't feel like walking they have golf carts to shuttle you around! I like that we had a many dinning options, but I will say I was a bit disappointed with both fine dining restaurants. The service is great, but the food in terms of taste is not in line with what you pay. I do think both Baan Thai and Sea salt could be a bit better. ...
It was really cool to be able to watch the stingrays pass-by from your room and to be able to go snorkeling right from your room.
The candle-light dinner by the beach was an amazing experience.
We started by doing the "All Inclusive" plan the first day but quickly realized that the regular meal option worked way better for us.
All the staff are incredibly kind and courteous. Airport transit was flawless, and very easy. Stayed in the Samaan Suite. Bed was comfortable. Had room service every night, so the food is definitely reliable, they also ask about dietary restrictions at check in, and were happy to make dishes according to our needs. Absolutely loved it, the staff is extremely helpful by having in mind that I missed one day and arrived the next due to the flight cancellations.
The hosts are very welcoming, you get everything you need even if you are alone, safety, security and arrangements you request.
If you travel alone, this is the best place to be and the best beach is on this island.

Quick stop overnight to catch the boat to resort early in the morning. Hotel is small and gets quite noisy at night time but also very convenient for the one night stay. staff was friendly and very helpful taking every question and request very seriously
