Staying at Ye Olde Red Lion was a fun experience. It is probably the most unique place I've stayed with its blending of old, old and new and updated rooms. I would stay here again. We were in Arran Room which was very nice other than the mattress should be replaced. It is uncomfortable. The outside grounds need some cleaning and TLC, too. Clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless! My husband and I had a lovely time and would absolutely stay again!

The Elephant's slogan is "Quirky Luxury," and my husband and I found that to be a keynote as we stayed here for one night while walking the Thames Path. From the nearly life-size elephant sculpture outside made of scavenged metal objects to the airplane-wing furniture in the bar and lobby, quirkiness is definitely on display. Wonderful country pub and accommodations. House staff , sarah ( in particular) very very kind ,understanding and helpful. Billy ,am wait staff , efficient, quick to offer solutions.. very kind and bright… will do well whatever path in life he chooses

Very comfortable lodge, beautiful views by the river and great restaurant. Very convenient free parking on site.

The Front House manager Craig is awesome and was very responsive. He goes out of his way to ensure that visitors enjoy their stay. The ample bus options make getting to and from downtown Oxford a breeze. Overall, great bang for your buck!

Big clean room, great comfy bed. Blackout blinds and quiet room ensured a great nights sleep. Full breakfast in the dining room or a light bite at the on premise Starbucks.

Had a great stay at the Hare and the Hound. Great patio next to the restaurant to gather after a fun day and breakfast was really well put together. Room was cozy and comfy and the staff left a nice little surprise in the room.

The staff was some of the nicest people we met on our vacation in England. They went above and beyond to take care of us. The food was fabulous, we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. I will defiantly stay here gain,

The historic Red Lion has had a lovely makeover by Relais. Also, very attentive and friendly staff, from the manager to housekeeping.

This is a charming, family-run inn near Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). The accommodations were comfortable although simple, and the pub is fantastic, with really excellent food. The service by the family that owns th Inn and their employees is very good. The prices are reasonable, and the locals are friendly. The garden is very pretty also. No complaints, would stay again. The tomato soup and goat cheese salad were standouts.

We enjoyed our stay. The extra large, free car park away from city congestion is a bonus. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Easy access to LHR. Nice local hiking trails.

The night shift front desk staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is good but the bacon is very salty. Tha car parks in front of the hotel are small relatively. Overall, the hotel is recommended.

This is an excellent place to stay while visiting Oxford. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Our room above the pub was large and nicely appointed.
