10/10 Excellent
"Hotel is in a great location for Brecon fringe festival, second time staying here!"
Llangoed Hall
10/10 Excellent
"This is a really special place, a step back in time to an era where customer service really matters to the staff. The location, the decor and the food are all exemplary. Will definitely visit again."
The Kings Head Hotel
8/10 Good
"Really nice local hotel. Rooms look nice but are a bit crooked and lopsided. Our bed had quite an angle (nr. 6.). Breakfast was very nice!"
The Castle of Brecon Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful hotel in a lovely location. We stayed here for 4 nights in a Superior double room. The room had recently been refurbished. The bathroom was huge and very clean. The room itself was very nice with views across to the Beacons at the rear. Having the DAB radio on Radio3 was a nice touch when we arrived. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. We paid extra for breakfast, and we dined in 2 nights too. Food was very good. Parking was ok but a little limited for the number of rooms. There is on-street parking close by and the Promenade car park is free 6pm-8am. Note: if you happen to have seen The Hotel Inspector episode from over 18 years ago with Alex Polizzi that features this hotel, please don’t be put off. Time has worked wonders. It is unrecognisable from then. I believe it’s now owned by The Coaching Inn Group. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"We did enjoy the stay although there was a lot of upgrading work going on at the time. We wish them every success going forward."
The Swan at Hay Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were wonderful. We arrived very early on the motorbike and they found us doneness to change and leave our bike gear so we could go exploring. Table service breakfast was a lovely treat and very delicious. Room was wonderful. The outdoor garden area is really nice, very private and beautiful with lots of flowers. Great spot to chill in the evening. Much closer to town than appeared in the map so was very happy with that and it's very close to walking path along the wye"
